Rosy Armelia, SST.FT., Ftr., MMRS is a physiotherapist with broad experience in clinical care, in advancing the discipline, in education and in professional-body work. Her practice is evidence-based: comprehensive physiotherapy built around each person's needs and oriented toward their quality of life.
Professional Body
Rosy currently serves in the International Relations Division of the Indonesian Physiotherapy Association (Ikatan Fisioterapi Indonesia, IFI). Before that she was entrusted with chairing IFI's Bandung City branch, contributing to the development of the profession and to public understanding of how physiotherapy helps people stay healthy, prevent injury and optimize how their bodies function.
Clinical Experience
Rosy has practiced across several fields of physiotherapy, including orthopedic and sports, cardiovascular, pediatric and women's health. She practices and contributes to physiotherapy services at a number of healthcare facilities — RS Melinda 2, RS Melinda CVC and RSIA Melinda, hospitals in Bandung — and at Care Physio.
That experience across fields shapes a whole-person clinical approach — one that weighs each patient's condition, needs, activities and goals.
Instructor & Educator
Alongside her clinical work, Rosy has wide experience as a speaker, instructor and teacher in physiotherapy workshops, seminars and education programs. She regularly teaches and trains on:
- Five Core Movement (FICOMO/FCM)
- Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) – Prague School
- Physiotherapy in women's health
- Geriatric physiotherapy
- Orthopedic and sports physiotherapy
- Movement and functional rehabilitation
Rosy is a practitioner who has trained in, and is competent in, the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) approach of the Prague School, and she is an active Five Core Movement instructor.
Commitment to Advancing Physiotherapy
As a practitioner who is also active in physiotherapy education, Rosy cares deeply about developing physiotherapists' competence and about bringing an ever-advancing body of knowledge into clinical practice.
In 2017 she founded Yayasan Inphysio Indonesia, a foundation focused on developing and providing evidence-based physiotherapy care and on building collaboration with clinics and hospitals.
For Rosy, physiotherapy is not only about treating a complaint or an injury. It is about helping each person understand their body, optimize how it functions, stay independent and reach a better quality of life.
Drawing on that clinical, academic, organizational and educational experience, Rosy remains committed to physiotherapy that is professional, grounded in science, personal and oriented to each patient's needs.
